Easter Food Pyramid – What are you sacrificing for Lent? As a congregation we are building a Food Pyramid (non-perishable food and toiletries) to help stock the shelves at Joseph’s Storehouse Food Bank in time for Easter.
Throughout Lent each of us is encouraged to donate one item per day.
Lenten Video Devotionals – Cruxifusion invites you to subscribe to a daily Lenten video devotional. Each day during Lent you’ll receive an email with a three- to five-minute devotional video prepared by a different Christ-centred United Church minister. Go to http://cruxifusion.ca/ to sign up!
Annual Reports are ready – Please pick yours up from the church. Your 2011 receipt is attached to your annual report.
Christian Growth Groups – Bible study focused on the book of James started on Wed Jan 11.
Wednesday group – Wednesday, Feb 22 at 7:00 at the church || “Sunday” group — Sunday, Feb 19 after the service.
The Ottawa Presbytery PRAYER CIRCLE would like to add your concerns to their list of prayers this week. Prayers are said for the congregations and ministers on the prayer cycle calendar as well as for the whole body of Presbytery. The prayer requests are kept in strictest confidence. Please send your individual concerns to prayercircle@uccanottawa.org and we will uplift them in prayer. Prayers are lovingly offered weekly.
